Today in class we went over the first weekly Quiz of the quarter and then spent the rest of class working on solving equations with variables on both sides of the equation.

Today in class we covered started our work on section 3.4, which dealt with solving linear equations with variables on both sides of the equation. We learned some strategies to help make solving these problems easier.

After the lesson we had our first day 6 quiz.

Homework Due 9/23: Pg. 157-158 #19, 21, 29, 31, 35, 37, 45.

Remember to put a proper heading on the homework.

Today in class we went over section 3.3 of the text book which taught us some more strategies on how to solve linear equations with multiple steps. After the lesson the students worked on some group work problems.

Today in class we went over the course syllabus along with what is expected of the students this coming year. After we we finished the syllabus, the students worked in groups on their summer packets (which will be collected on Friday at the beginning of class).
