Today in class we started our coverage of factoring and solving quadratics when the leading coefficient, a, is not 1. We learned two different typed of methods on how to approach these types of problems.

Today in class we worked on Section 10.2 of the book. We started to figure out how to multiply polynomials. We learned about the FOIL method, plus how to multiply vertically or horizontally (distribution). We then worked in groups on multiplying polynomials.

Today in class we started our coverage of Chapter 10 (Polynomials and Factoring). We worked on section 10-1 which saw us learn how to combine (add or subtract polynomials).
