Today in class we finished our coverage of section 5-1 and 5-2. We learned how to write the equation of a line in y= mx + b form when given different information.

Today in class we finished our chapter 4 Test, and then moved onto our coverage of chapter 5.

We covered section 5-1, writing linear equations.

Today was grandparents and special friends day so we played math games. We did some fractions games and then played everyone's favorite MPH.

There will be a Chapter 4 Test on Tuesday.

Today in class we finished our discussion on section 4-6 and started our work on 4-7. Due to grandparents day on Thursday the students were given filled out copies of the class notes for 4-7 and 4-8. Along with the filled out class notes a study guide was handed out to the class.

We are still having our test on Tuesday 11/15, therefore the students should be responsible for the two sections given out in class. If you have questions on anything let me know and don't wait until the last minute.

Today in class we started our work with finding the slope of the line and what the slope represents when it comes to context of a real life problem.

We did some group work trying to find the slope of graphs.
